I do not want to be!

a poem by Rosebud

I left the filthy place,
I wasn’t sure where to go,
I shut my eyes to the world,
The entire world seemed a trash,
My tears fell faster,

I gasped because it hurt,
My heart beat faster and harder,
Painfully pierced by a thorn,
I opened my eyes to reality,
Nothing looked the same,

Did I bow down again for the world to trample me?
I want to walk far away,
And never feel it again,
Let me drown, I do not want to be,
Let me sink, not survive,

That night sleep wouldn’t come to me,
I wanted to sleep and never wake again,
Fire erupted from the tears in the soul
Each drop burnt my skin,
Let me drown, I do not want to be,
