Heart-break

a poem by Atul James Singh

Heart-break, little did I know,
Though spoken by a few,
Little did I realize,
The hidden pain beside,
Until I fell in love with you!!

How deep it hurts,
When a heart gets cuts,
How badly it bleeds,
For his love the heart pleads!

‘As you sow, so shall you reap’
I made promises which I never did keep,
Today, I stroll on the same road,
Piercing my heart has gone a sword;
The measure has been same for me,
God found a sweet way to punish me.

Friends, I put my feelings in this epistle
And leave a lesson at your disposal;
Either you love not, or break a heart none,
Coz’ our hearts are not many, but only one.
