When will the doves of peace,
Fly above the hawks of war,
When will this bloodshed cease,
Is the moment too far.
Would you and I live to see it,
Or wouldn’t it come at all?
We wait here, with hope we sit,
To see another Berlin wall, fall.
It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow,
Yet a day will come to end this sorrow,
May be beyond our conception of time,
Some day down the way of mankind.
