Texan Cossack

a poem by Jayati

Black diamond?
Coal man or Coleman, county Cossack was fair
Deep, deep; Under cover affair
Law and order keeper, sorry no housekeeper
Moved door to door.

Planted sugar on virgin dark soil
He made them pay for their toil
To get dough for him out of spoil
Booty grand royal from special talcum.

As he became a putrid boil, a sore throat Texan
Who should have coiled into a shell for his unholy deal-
The media sniffed into a well and dug out facts that did chill.
Shadow of the sinful.
