She Weeps

a poem by Rajesh J

Still,
She weeps.
For me, my body.
I killed
A son, a brother,
Of
That grey-old widow
She weeps
Not even for that
Still she weeps
No one knows
Why that mad weeps.
The one who knew
The only cause for her weep
Had also died.
I PROMISED
My mother,
Yesterday
That,
I shall return.
But,
I broke it.
Still the war expands!!
The day dusks
Still she weeps
I
See my mother
Thousands in her state
Never ends this war.
Nor even
The weep!!!
