Haiku

a poem by Singh R K Dr

1)
Flowers dupe
fragrance of the wind-
clouds in spring

2)
Soft footsteps
of students bunking
class test

3)
Worship sun
for wish fulfillment
nudes in pond

4)
Her presence
some alien sensation
in my veins

5)
Exchanging
anger with roses:
petals fall

6)
0ne more year
hanged with calendar:
a new god

7)
They kill and hide
in mosques pray, in fear
kill more and flee

8)
What will you raise
to save my grave
from air-raids

9)
For a moment’s peace
dying hundred times a day
my little soul

10)
Here in cozy bed
we feel the December chill:
our son in bunker

11)
Fog follows
the two minutes rain:
eyes-itching

12)
Waking up
with a cry-
muscle pulled

13)
With my friend’s daughter
I become my son at three
chasing butterfly

14)
Spreading waves
with stones in the lake-
self-violence

15)
In exam hall
mixed body-smell:
mind sweating

16)
In mind’s junkyard
forgetting is faster
than remembering

17)
Peeking at
a dead frog on the road-
a crow

18)
Blade of grass
breaks through the cement:
seed flowers

19)
A crow picks at
cow’s back in the afternoon-
drooping rag picker

20)
A moth
struggling for life
on wire
