A Voice from Heaven

a poem by Charishma Jaikishin Ramchandani

As I sit, these significant lines to write,
On this real dark black night
I begin to hold my pen very tight,
As I start inditing with all my might!

I am special but I’m not rare,
Coz I exist everywhere
Around me is an aura of purity and calm,
I punish all those who cause harm!

Day and night I long for universal peace,
On seeing the Twin Towers torn, I just freeze
It makes my heart just ache and cry,
To see innocent mortals die!

Pollution and terrorism I hate to see,
Tension is all it causes me
It makes me get lonely and sad,
Do I deserve it, am I so bad?
