I fight and I lose
And I lose but I win.
I try and I fail
Though I fail, I grin.

I smile when in pain, and I’ve learnt this from you
Coz smiling you were, when I swore to you.
I swore to be there, in all adverse
I chose to be tried, when your joys were scarce.

I live by hope, I’ll survive today
Coz tomorrow, I believe, I’ll see a better day.
This hope that I breathe, you gave it to me
I strived harder, every time I lost to thee.

The soul that I have, was fitful before
The impatience I know, you had the cure.
No longer do I try, to settle the score,
If it’s losing to you, I wish to lose more.

I lost every battle, I’ll lose every war
I lost my faith, I’ll lose once more.
I believed in myself, I believe in you
I’ll continue to fight, I’ll try for sure.

I lose to thee, I lose to win
Coz today if I lose, the victories will be twin.

Someday this dream, will shape to reality
Together we will, scale the apogee.
None shall lose, we shall win.
