My prayer to God for creating me

a poem by

Chinta Sreedhar Sai Reddy

Thou have kindled life in this perishable body
which is a source of inspiration to thousand a body.

Thou have smoldered my soul in
thy’s furnace Which can dread through
the perilous ways which I foray.

Thy splendour shone, My blindness gone,
and all is brightness as I see it now.

Thou are great for giving me the
imagination which helped me carve
a niche to your creation.

Thou have bestowed me the will to
guide my near and dear to act at
your will.

When things don’t seem to go my way,
I left to thee and you showed me the way.

Thou are my master on whom I meditate
for ever with this imperishable mettle.
