In an exotic Russian circus, there was once this joker
Who pretended to play the trumpet with his dusty blunt poker
After which there was the grand entrance of the star of the show, the lion
Whose majestic, nay absurd name was ‘Kitty scion’
When it came, the joker took a short, stubby cane
Which he used to ruffle the poor lion’s mane
Though Kitty scion did not feel any pain
Its expression was like that of a person gone insane
But then, it quickly sobered down
And so began the musical act of the clown
First he made it play the guitar with its paws
Then, he played drums on its teeth by opening its jaws
Unfortunately, due to its sharp claws, the strings of the guitar broke
But the unaware audience laughed as if it were part of the joke
Well, this angered Kitty scion and it flew into a rage
So, despite the joker’s efforts to send it back into its cage
Kitty scion lifted him, pushed the guitar, and made him play
But the joker was a horrible, no, terrible guitarist, I must say
In spite of this, it made him play louder and more shrill
Till the audience began to feel that the show had lost its thrill
And finally, the spectators of the show felt that it had become a big bore
Why! some of them even began to sleep and snore
The poor little joker was embarrassed to the core
Cause this incident would become immortal in circus legend and lore
