Swinging Silent Tunes

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

My cuckoo on the coconut tree
Reminds me of the rising sun at dawn hours.
But my body, mind and soul which have
Restlessly glanced the unfulfilling dream sequences
On the visual large, flat screen all through the moonlit night
Never care for these alarms and continue their unbridled sleep
With heart beats reverberating in silent tunes
Of my monitoring youthful extravaganza
