Supoems . . .

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

A Sigh

In the heart of hearts
Implant bravery in shorts
Our thoughts may fly high
Our deeds and acts only to feel a sigh

Friendship

Friendship really lasts long
To whatever creed we belong
A need sometimes rings up strong

To make us cling to but not at all to hang
Forget me nots loosen the knots stitched oblong
To make us free and wave like tree or a welcome song

A Shower

Love at times threatens life
Love some times act as sweetened knife
As humans let us take the stride as a natural strife
God the almighty showers his best wishes in times ahead in life

A Flight

You, my love have given me wings
You my throb I have now a tone that sings
All seasons to me appear like that of springs
My heart in every beep have your name that rings
My beloved! my darling! let us fly above all other things
