Silence

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

I am at the cross roads
With all signals stopping me

I am unable to proceed further
Please help me to ease out.

The mind is boggling
With traffic puzzles

The soul is sulking
With lovely whistles

The heart is halting with
Premature proceedings

The body is bursting
Into peels of laughter

I am still at the cross roads
With cracking stress

Oh! GOD the almighty
Please be kind enough
To save me in high spirits
I am at your benign presence
Shower me with your pitied silence
