Just Another Image

a poem by Satheesan Rangorath

One smile melted my heart
Like a cool moon light fall
Creating celestial images
You swing in my heart

Shapes and shades swim
In great ocean of thoughts
Images dance and vanish
Behind the mist of mystery

Life freezes around time
Waiting for grace of sun
Lifting veil of shyness
You stepped in silently

In an embrace I poured
All my ignominy on you
Sleeping and snoring
I litter ignorance around

I still listen to your sob
Sound of your clothes shift
I can feel you breathe life
Again into my dryness

Hood of snakes rise
Dancing in ecstasy of love
I hide my lust in a cuddle
Sharing curl of your warmth
