Black Hate

a poem by Christuraj Alex

Why do the fair, seeing black humans try to flee?
Are black fruits, chocolates, gems, too, their enemy?
Don’t they dive for treasures even in the black sea?
Why do the fair, seeing color black try to flee?
Does the breeze say to the dark clouds: do not touch me?
Does the sea ban a blackfish, swimming in her, free?
Why do the fair, seeing black humans try to flee?
Are black fruits, chocolates, gems, too, their enemy?
