Winter

a poem by Christuraj Alex

Winter has crept in like a beautiful bride!
Awesome in beauty! Yet, in shame, she does hide!
Her bridal gown is snow-white, graceful, and pure!
Yet, how long will she wear it – she’s not so sure!
When hailstones and chill winds leave her heart shattered,
Won’t her charm, like flowers in storms, get tattered?
