Sun and Shower

a poem by Lakshminarayana K

Shower in sun, fun was then
Sun sans shower now stuns my pen;
The sky is clad in darkening shrouds
Witnessing forenoon vanishing clouds.

Agriculturists all toil in trust
Labourers’ sighs were sternly thrust;
Gloominess welled up tears and wet
Wives all drip drop strain and sweat.
