Flowers made an upheaval

a poem by Deepti Chauhan

A garden with flowers,
Appeals me to become nature’s lover
Smiling faces of flowers with the cool breeze blowing,
Avoids me from going

Eyes with water I murmur and chatter
Flowers look so unselfish
Which makes me feel guilty

They refresh me and decision
With a new mission
Instead of being a destroyer
Their innocent faces made me their admire
