Death of a Butterfly

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

Beautiful butterfly,
Colourful butterfly,
your burning wings
In the pitch dark,
Shining so bright,
In the dark night;
In your own light
hunting food bite;
Becomes food bite
In other’s mouth,
By your own help
From wing’s light.
This is the nature
This is it’s rule;
Life it sustains,
Can suspend it too.
