You my beloved

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

You emptied my heart
Walking away free frank fearless from its precincts
Where did you preserve the fragrance
That enchanted us all through the days
We stayed together all along my dear!
Will our dreams come true unlimited?

A pat you have given on my back
Enthused me like to a fluttering bird
Readied to fly in high skies
It encouraged me too in all the ways
Tell me my heart throb!
Where do the affections go un acknowledged?

From the distance of decades in our love life
We had shades under green wood trees during spring
Had colours of the baring autumn and enjoyed
Long drawn nights of winter and encouraged
Summer evenings’ cool breezes
Tell me my darling where do these seasons of love resting?
