Tumbleine

a poem by Dan

Lonely heart’s rampage ends with a melody
I try to be silent, you are standing next to me
You find out the answers; I fake up a forget
And I try to see
Inside feelings

Try to be happy; Try to set my heart alight
You’re the face in my dreams in front of all the bright
You find out the answers; I fake up a forget
To hold of
All my pain
Tumbling in the rain

And what you never do
Can really get to you
I’ll tell you
That you’re my everything
That you’re my tumbleine
And make you

Heartstrung, empty, I send out a love song
I’ve been quiet for far too long
You find out the answers, I fake up a forget
Dried up poems with my tired threats
Of tears
And sadness
Tumbling rain

And what you never do
Can really get to you
I’ll tell you
That you’re my everything
That you’re my tumbleine
And make you see

This one goes out to the girl I love…
