a poem by Anup Chandran V

The wind that whips the sea to a roar,
carouses, caresses and careens its core,
giving a purpose while realising its fore,
together to gambole, to reach their shore,
parting momentary ephemerally sore,
craving mutual, yearning for more,
give up a hundred shores for an encore,
to feel within in every pore,
devouring to the extent of gore,
cloaks of togetherness, proudly wore,
moments, that contents itself in a lore.
