The puzzle

a poem by Tony Gill

My own hands that broke your heart
I’ll use to put it back like a PUZZLE
And pray that it will never fall apart
The fangs of your love need no muzzle

The flower of that rainy day
The sun that rises every morning
All so different not like they say
The quiet whisper for me to sing

A complete PUZZLE, you forgave me
So sweet is your love to never be tart
Now cut my chains so ill be free
To hold together your fragile heart
