Sea Dreams

a poem by Nandakishore Ramkumar

Walking along the shore hand-in-hand;
Watching the sun’s rays on the golden sand,
The waves rush to kiss my feet;
While our hearts gel and together they beat,
Even as I cherish the wonderful calm,
You cast a spell with your graceful charm,
Cared less about the future and buried the past,
And wished that our love would forever last,
I wish you were the sea, and I the shore;
For you would kiss me forever,
Until the world is no more.
