Love, the Alchemy

a poem by Purushothama Rao R

What do you know about
The properties
Propensities
Or prosperities of love
In statics and dynamics they deserve

You derive at conclusions
Treating them as tasteless, colourless and odourless too
As professed in books you read day and night
Spending watts and kilo watts of mid night energy

Taste the first kiss of the love you propose
Did any thing found sweeter than this?

Smell the fragrance of the odour the body emits
You get tranquilized to deeper and deeper depths of anatomy

Glance at the colours in its rises and falls
You get astonished the to the fall colours in cents

Its propensity measured in velocity of the speed winds
Its prosperity assessed in spring time tunes by octaves
