Fickle Rose

a poem by Vanlalfaka

Twinkle stars lighted the sky,
I stared at blossom girl,
She looked like a guardian angel,
The protector of human being.
The beauty she has,
Ensnared my everything.
She was the rose,
That gave me enormous joy.
O my God! she was a lovely rose,
Placed in the decorated vase,
That has no life.
Her love for me
Was just capricious,
Turned my world into upside down,
And I’m victimised of fickle smile.
This is the lesson,
I’ll carry to next world,
Every rose is not true rose,
And every love is not pure at all,
Coz’ we stand on material world.
