What has Corona Virus Taught?

a poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Do not party you
Maintain physical distance
Avoid contact
Do not hug or hand shake
Wash hands before
Keep yourself clean
Live where you are
As that your land
Even a stranger can be your own
Do not drive unnecessarily
As for the environment
Death, a great leveler
Wear a mask
And even if you die, who will be nearer you
Don’t ask
As somebody else too could be your own
Standing nearer you
And nursing you
The body of baser things
Will return to baser stuff
Worry not about it
And when you die
Rites and rituals must be restricted
Why to invite so many
For the feast
The marriage ceremony too
A private affair
Why to call so many
Keep everything private and personal
Keep an eye over health and hygiene
