Grandpa, I miss you

a poem by Krishna Meghana Gandaboyina

Dear grandpa, I miss you,
Because you are my favourite, like very other few.
I wish, I had a telephone of my choice,
Through which I could call the heaven, to hear your voice.
I think that, the heaven might be the happiest to have you there,
But I don’t understand how did it even dare,
to take away the person from me, whom the most I care.
I feel so sad that I wasn’t with you during the last days of your life,
But I promise that I will try to give the best to your wife
Let the world think that you are no more,
But I do believe that you are with me for sure
