Some one who’ll always care

a poem by Benna Rao Goli

I try my best, many things to obtain
By leading a life in vain;
I take time for granted each day
I feel it’s easy to lead life that way.

With emotional guilt hidden in heart
I go on, setting the life apart;
Many a times my eyes roll in tears
Deep in heart with unknown fears.

I bury the pain and frustration
In my soul, leading life in imitation;
When’ll there be, for my sins, limitation?
When’ll there be, for my life, transformation?

I’m lonely with lost faith and hope
And I wonder how on the earth I’ll cope;
Then I realize there’s a Majesty up there
Someone Who will always care.
