His French Window

a poem by Poonam Chowdhary

The world outside lives in his being
The torrential rains or drizzling swish
The blinding sun the salve of moon
Lying on his bed encompasses his life

To be a globetrotter is not his thing
His whole world resides in his being
The orange sunset the rising clouds
Making his world go around

Elated in the view of sparkling stars
Ecstatic is the state of mind
Till breath remains in his being
His French window is his friend
