Dreams come like raindrops

a poem by Ruby Moses Ezekiel

Dreams come like raindrops,
Millions at a time,
Some find rest on the ground,
Others are blown away.

Dreams come like raindrops,
Falling in a desert,
Provide a reason to live,
In the desert of life.

Dreams come like raindrops,
Fragile and meek,
Having no strength of their own,
But surely give us strength.

Dreams come like raindrops,
Millions at a time,
Some find rest on the ground,
Others are blown away.
