Decadence

a poem by Lakshmi Priya

As he said,
all world’s a stage,
staffing morbid plays,
lost in these plays is moral,
cast into small petty soul,
which gazes in silence at,
the exaltation for moderism,
scurrility to godheads grace,
obsession for wealth,
but nothing it does,
only gazes, not in wonder,
but in pity.
