Sunflowers

a poem by Sarvaswa Raj

Yellow, beautiful and bright
Giving in the heart a feeling of delight
In the middle a patch of brown
A perfect place for a sunflower’s crown

Blooms in the beautiful garden of mesmerising beauty
It tingles in every heart the music of fluty
It glows when the sun rises
It fades when the moon then borrows

It fills every heart with happiness
Cause wid the sun there is unlimited brightness
In a group it is so conspicuous
These flowers are so very precious

They bloom in the sun
They fade in the sun
They delight or mind hour-by-hour
Cause they are SUNFLOWERS.
