Who cares?

a poem by Kaavyashri Rao

If you are different, you will definitely face hate
If you are average, their memory is a blank slate
If you comply, you are a pathetic doormat
If you do not, you are a spoilt brat
Ambitious? Your head is in the Clouds
Grounded? You’ve made no one proud
Kind? You’re a damn coward
Strong? No morals as per the outward
Creative? You’re a pretentious anarchist
Compliant? You’re a spineless conformist
Tip toe this way or crawl that way
Judgemental sour grapes vine always finds a way
So the next time they scare, damn them and dare
‘cause except for you, who really cares?
