Here comes the Dawn

a poem by Meena

The pure, virginal princess
swims across the dark ocean,
Her radiance outshining the millions of
twinkling lilies surrounding her.

Veiling herself with the scents of jasmine
and blooming feminity, at night.
She brings a peaceful serenity and
soothing calmness in all our lives.

Here sees her prince, the great ironclad
hot sun riding his wild horses.

The two opposite ends meet.

He adoring his silver lady, the
full form of feminity of nature,
adorning herself in silver jewels,
consumes her in a raging passion.

So here comes the dawn, their child
spreading light to the earth,
spreading light to all our lives.

(Dedicated to
the beautiful Moon,
the magnificent Sun and
the delightful Dawn)
