Complications and Fabrications

a poem by Teesha Guliana

Everything around,
Is so… simple.
It’s always our vision,
It just… twinkles.

Our perspective,
Is so into the habit,
Of seeing complications.

We fail,
To purely,
Dwell onto fabrications.

Or memories,
Are dimmed.
They’re filled,
Up to the brim.

We still rummage,
Through it.
We still push it,
Into the sink.

Fearing the worse,
Of what might happen.
Dreading the consequences,
Which we choose to enlighten.

Everything around,
Is so… simple.
It’s always our vision,
It just… twinkles.
