Dry Heart

a poem by Gulam Sarwar

My sweet smelling flower and elegance
Endowed me love with happy appearance
My love from water was green
Floods collapsed it’s all been
It broke my wings of love
Separated me with beautiful turtle dove
Without wings of love, I prefer me life
To live alone in this world rife
My heart shrunken as dills
Went far of me, my soul gills
