Is it green, the colour of Nature?
My little daughter asked
As I looked at plants and leaves
The little girl looked me with a dislike
She is in her uniform blue, dark blue tie
Dark blue also up to her knee
Small two blue rings in her ears
While I tie her hair in blue bands
She started- “sky is blue, clouds are blue
When we went to the sea shore last
I noticed plenty shades of ocean blue
At grandma’s house rocks too ash and blue
The mountain saw far pretty blue
The stars at night glitter in blue
Grandpa caught many fish in pond
Their eyes and scales all shine in blue
Ever I open my windows of game
Figures and cartoons come up in blue
Look I’m standing in your eyes
Where a glow of blue rings ah”
