By the river side

a poem by Pratheeksha Andezhuth

Oh many coloured luscious grass!
Your soul is being led by the mysterious tinge of the greys of thy river bank.
Oh mountain ranges of lofty heights!
Thy heights are being touched by the palpable,
Sweet, rippling waters of thy river bank.
Oh corniferous trees of mississipi valley!
Thy tops are being tickled by her drupelets in rain to,
Giggle you and make you lordly and sassy.
Oh mother nature!
Thyself is being enhanced by her charm,
To bewitch mankind
And hunt down the throne of nature’s elegance.
