Childhood

a poem by Sarvaswa Raj

Back in the days of past
When the 20th century was coming to a last
When we were fifteen
And in the house never too be seen

Always in the playground
Playing hide-and-seek and go a round
Playing with our friends
Even when there were strict time ends

The time of our childhood
Was undoubtedly very good
Sometimes I get my childhood memories
But never I get any of my friends heard

Being friends we fight
But our friendship was always tight
Being friends we care insult each other
But we were always sister and brother

So let’s not forget the time of our childhood
That time so good
The time of our childhood
