Befooling facade

a poem by Bulbul

Gleaming in its beauty,
the crescent moon shined;
deceivingly cosmetic
yet an unstolen style!
only eagle eyes dare to peep what
is visible faintly,
the reflection, which shields the sordid scars so incredibly.
The luster of a stone;
confused with the gold:
a docile soul, carried off untold;
truth is deep; too pure to be illustrated decoratively,
like the placid ocean surface’ is lethally peril underneath!
