Freedom,
It is good to hear about,
But who is in reality a free man,
And even if he is,
How free is he?

Freedom,
Freedom of speech, freedom expression,
If this be, why do we suppress
And curtail the speeches,
Why is the press restricted?

Freedom,
What do you mean by it
And who in reality is a free man,
Free to speak, free to express
Going internally?

Freedom,
We have learnt it in books,
But who is actually free,
Do we ever give freedom,
Freedom to enjoy?

Freedom,
Freedom is a chimera,
Freedom,
Freedom is a dream,
A long-cherished dream of ours?
