A Lion and Lioness
A Tiger and Tigress;

A Donkey and Jenny
But no Mule or Hinny

A Stallion and Mare
A male and female Hare;

A Gander and Goose
Also a He and She Mongoose;

A Mr.Camel and Mrs.Camel
A Mr.Squirrel and a Mrs.Squirrel;

A Tusker and Cow elephant
A Male and Female serpent;

A Bull and Cow
A Pig and Sow;

Goat and sheep
With space for all to sleep;

A cock and Hen
All I cannot Pen;

You gathered in your Ark
Happily, singing like a Lark;

And at last when the Deluge did come
Your Ark proved a refuge welcome;

To you belongs the Biblical distinction
Oh! Noble Noah of saving so many species from extinction.
