Centuries ago we heard of renaissance
When art had love and peace as essence
Not heard of violence or martial art
With art coming only from the heart!

Classical art had a class of sense
Nothing to lose nor causing to tense
Blending pleasure with joyous beauty
The artists too had their duty!

Now we need a second renaissance
Art for art’s sake, a reassurance
Banning the vulgar display of words
Hanging head in shame are the classical bards!
