Fantacy of Dreams

a poem by Sudarshan Madhav Karhale

I take a peek through my window
at the beauty of a moon,
which I wish had shed its light on me-
I guess that I did it too soon.

As she turns her gaze
towards my face,
I turn completely red.
I have her in my dreams
more often now,
after falling asleep on bed.

Though we seldom talk,
separately walk,
I can hear her heartbeat.
I always try to find a spot,
closest to her seat.

And now I am here,
getting nowhere near,
fantasizing about my thoughts.
I keep on writing these stupid poems
with silly twists and lazy plots.
