Die Hard

a poem by Sethy G S

Engagement Ring on the finger,
around neck and arms I linger.
For millions I am a passion.
Without me goes no fashion.
My name itself is a mania.
But, I differ from ‘Cubic Zirconia’.
Nothing can wear, tear or last.
Nothing can cut tools as fast.
I am given as a prize.
I am rated by my size.
Koh-i-noor, Cullinan and Blue Hope.
Other gemstones – no scope.
My name is Diamond,
Die Hard Diamond.
