When I used to think of Ladakh
And its autonomy
The Buddhist culture of it
The Buddhist sect, creed, people
Their faith and belief
Their life-style and attire
Society and culture
The exotic flora and fauna
The mountainous region
And its alignment with
The rest of India
And from here the ways leading
To the beyond of it
