Sandy liked Candy

a poem by Shah Pravinchandra Kasturchand

There was little girl.
Her name was Sandy.
With her mom one day
She went to a store,
That was selling candy.

Sandy wanted candy.

Mom said slowly,
‘You much like candy,
But candy likes teeth;
So if you eat much candy
Candy will eat your teeth.’

Sandy was a wise girl.
She liked her teeth.
She told her mom,
She liked her teeth,
Did not want candy.

Mom was happy
Bought her toy
It was baby boy
Sandy was joy.
