Twinkling Stars

a poem by Sarvaswa Raj

Have you ever seen
In the dark sky
A dot of light
Up very high
And very bright.

Yes I’m talking about stars
Those small dots of beauty
The ones that bring to one’s mind equistity
Those I’m talking about whom revolves our Earth
Those under which every creature took birth.

These stars form the galaxies
And many people’s galleries
These form a hue in sky
And light the environment dry
The ones which bright a man’s fear

The stars which form that constellations
And bring light for the world’s excellence
Yes I’m taking about stars never minding the world’s darkness
But is present for only delightness
That is what I’m talking about
STARS
