My Alarm Clock

a poem by Rafel Michael

The chirps of little flamingoes woke me up
Today like every day at early dawn
What even if my alarm clock is dead
Those little birds talk with rhythmic tune
A melodious symphony
Without any battery operated
Which no alarm clock could ever beats

Unlike my alarm clock
This is a non stop orchestra
Without a megaphone
This reverberates in the morning breeze
For me to give a new day break
Which no one could ever beats

I never set a time to oblige them
Like my alarm clock
They do it at their own will before dawn
To wake me up and see the first light of the day
Which no alarm clock could ever beats

There were two little birds
In the pigeon hole of a narrow ventilator
Their wings are shoving off
One pecks on the other
A game of love
Which no one could ever beats

Their music filled in the morning air
The free flow of music they show in their love making
In the early dawn hours
To envy me their openness
And freedom of love
Which no one could ever beats

Their chirps are talks for them
A heavenly music to my ears
When my alarm clock is soulless
Without a battery
These little souls make my day
Filled with melodious music
Which no one could ever beats

The tunes of the song penetrates into my ears
To give me a feast of music
The chirps of little birds with symphony
Without a music instrument
At early dawn hours
Make my day music filled
Which no one could ever beats

Before I gate crash
To this tumultuous world
For my daily routine
Their enchanting music
And love making scenes
Remind me to keep the spirit of the day
Poured generously by these birds
Which no one could ever beats
